We have recently introduced our new PLA display bags, an option requested by our customers. This article introduces the bags and their practical features.
What Are Our PLA Bags Made Of?
The material used is called Polylactic Acid (PLA). Check the specification for the exact bag before making statements about its feedstock or environmental performance.
How Should PLA Bags Be Stored and Disposed Of?
Our transparent bags have a shelf life of about 12 months (depending on storage conditions). Follow the storage instructions for the particular bag.
Disposal instructions must relate to the finished bag. Do not place it in a home compost bin or leave it in the environment on the assumption that it will break down.
Check whether your local collection service accepts the specific bag before placing it in any separate waste stream.
